This Blog is a journey through all 88 episodes of the 80′s TV show Scarecrow and Mrs King. I will be working my way through each episode in their original airing order[mostly! but may deviate from time to time with an explanation!] - I hope you will join me and share your own thoughts on Lee Stetson, Amanda King… and the world of SMK!

Hello! First timer here! I LOVE this blog! I loved all your insights and I have to say, I laughed until there were tears at several comments you had made (i.e. Little Billy in big chair, Lee talking into his wallet, Baddies unmasking Amanda’s headband instead of blindfold). Thank you for keeping me entertained for hours!
Hi DaisyD! How wonderful!! So glad you found us! I hope you will continue to have lots of laughs and enjoy the smk goodness!!! Do you have access to the show? I hope you can watch them too!!
Feel free to jump on in and have your say – welcome welcome!!!!
I do have access to the show! And now what I do is as I watch it, I follow it with your blog and both become that much more enjoyable! I would love to comment on your postings, although you are very thorough! Have a wonderful week!!!!!
Sounds like you’ve got it sorted DaisyD!
eek.. I know I do prattle on a bit.. but don’t forget – I haven’t covered what you think! And I sure would love to hear that
You have a great week too! whooo I love your avatar! Gorgeous!!

Hey! I seem to be having issues navigating your site. How do I get to a list of your previous blog posts so that I may read your summaries of season 1? Thanks !
Hi Elissa! No worries
we can’t have you deprived of SMK goodness!
You will see on the blog homepage there is a category list on the right sidebar. You can select ‘Season One’ and it will list all season one episode posts….Or! You can always search ( see the search box just above the categories menu) the episode’s title.. once you are at a post though, you can always just choose to move on to the next post with a shortcut at the top of the post to go on to the next post (right arrow), or back to the previous post (left arrow)
I knooooow it’s not great – such is the limitations of blogging on wordpress for free
but feel free to email me if you get lost! iwsod@optusnet.com.au
To get you started.. here is the link to the very first post
http://justwalkwithme.com/2011/11/27/season-1-episode-1-the-first-time/
The first episode is different- I’ve done one post with many pages, but from the second episode onwards, I’ve split the episodes into various numbers of posts ( depending on how much time I had to cover the episode or how interested in it I was! haa!)
And here’s the second episode: (split into 3 posts.. LOL these days I do a minimum of 7 or 8 and make them smaller! )

Happy reading Elissa! I hope you’ll enjoy reading everyone’s comments too!
Hiya Paula!!!!!
Thanks iwsod! I was just about to ask this! I just got my DVD’s and I’d forgotten how much I liked Season One. Yes, sometimes Lee’s treatment of Amanda is a bit trying but Amanda’s got some great one liners! It’ll be fun to go through the blog posts with the episodes! Which I’m going to do right now…Byeee!
Thanks for the warm welcome! I live in the States and I can access all of the episodes of SMK via Amazon Prime Streaming video……and I have over and over again for the past month or so….Lee is totally yummy. Now they would totally take advantage of his hotness and have him run around with his shirt off far more often…the 80″s were apparently a bit more conservative than I remember!

Welcome, elissa! Glad you’ve joined us.
Hi Elissa and welcome from Canada.
Like you, I thought I was alone in my obsession — I mean appreciation of Scarecrow and Mrs. King. I am not sure to be relieved or alarmed that this is not the case — LOL! My other big obsession in the 80s was Remington Steele (I still can recite the opening of season one by heart). I can’t wait to hear your take on the episodes.
Cheers!
Hi Cindy! Remington Steele was my absolute favorite when it was on! I was so excited when PB got the role of Bond!!
I love Canada! I have been all across your country! It’s beautiful! We have family in Montreal! Thanks for the welcome, I love knowing thAt I am not alone!!
Welcome, Elissa! Have fun catching up on all of the blog posts. I think Remington Steele and Scarecrow and Mrs King had a lot of similar fans. Now, if I can get one of my bosses to pay me more and free up some time, we could get a Remington Steele blog going, too.
Melissa
Hi Melissa.. I hear ya! I was worried I wouldn’t have enough time.. sometimes I don’t LOL!.. but then I figure I’ll just do what I can when I can.. I think if I had waited till I had lots of time to do it then I would never have done it (that’s just how I am!) – but yeah I hear ya..
It is a commitment.. sometimes I don’t have much time for the blog..I read everything, but don’t always have time to respond to comments: which I really really enjoy and appreciate getting!
Maybe you and Cindy could combine forces on the RS blog? More than one person can run a blog- sharing the load would be great. Ie. one person can be the administrator, but you can have editors in addition to edit, moderate, post etc. here is a link on it if you are interested http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/
Just a thought! I would definitely be reading and learning about RS!!! byeeee my studies are beginning to kick in with full force – feeling quite stressed actually! eek!
Hi, I just discovered your blog….I read just part of “Three Faces of Emily” and I am hooked. I loved SMK when it originally aired and recently rediscovered it and have been watching the episodes over and over….but it’s been kind of a bummer because I don’t know anyone who shares my appreciation…(actually, currently it’s kind of an obsession for some reason)…Reading your blog is great…I can’t wait to read it all from end to end.
Hello Elissa! Lovely to hear from you! I’m very glad you have found this blog and said hello!!!
I’m just a fellow smk fan like you – who wants to walk through all the episodes and find all of smk’s goodies!!! And.. I wanted to walk with my fellow smk fans and learn from them, bounce ideas of them.. and just have lots of FUN together!!!!
I hope you will feel free to share your thoughts here with other smk fans- they are a lovely fandom I must say!
I know how you feel- no one in my day to day life has any interested in Scarecrow and Mrs King – my experience has been the same as yours: wow!!!! there are others who love this show too?! cool!!! I want to talk with them!!!!
and laugh with them!!
and drool at Lee with them
– I can occassionally revert to my 8 year old self over Lee – and I don’t have to worry: they know I’m not insane : they get it too
Obsessed by SMK? Welcome to the club Elissa!!!! Do you have access to the show?? Which country are you in Elissa?
I’m in Australia..
Feel free to comment on any posts – they don’t expire.. though at the moment as you can see I am up to Season 2, episode 11 : with many, many more episodes to go!!
