2/11 Season Two, Episode 6: Brunettes Are In-Scarecrow and Mrs King

2.06 BRUNETTES ARE IN.avi_000473473We rejoin this episode with the baddies meeting down by the water.. Pearce is looking at the photos the baddies took, and asks who is Amanda King. They know who 2.06 BRUNETTES ARE IN.avi_000477477Amanda is, and that she works at IFF.
Pearce: then why are you here? follow her! Bring her into the family. 1yuck

I find this whole concept a bit of a stretch.. what bad luck Amanda has.. and it’s all very eww isn’t it!! The baddie says Kurtz is already following Amanda..
2.06 BRUNETTES ARE IN.avi_000497497On to Amanda at the laundromat.. she’s getting her clean washing out of the machine when in walks a friend of Amanda’s, Sarah. … Sarah wonders why Amanda is doing her 2.06 BRUNETTES ARE IN.avi_000511911laundry at the laundromat.. oops.. and Amanda is nervous.. hmmm and uh oh.. Kurtz the creep is outside! He joins up with the other baddie and both of them wait for Amanda to leave and grab her..

Meanwhile back at the agency, we find out the KGB are after the microdot- the stakes have been lifted with an even more vital microdot being given to Amanda (the deluxe microdot as opposed to the standard? Winking smile ). Anytime anyone says to Amanda it will be easy, simple, safe- it isn’t and it’s not her fault! The drop man just activated a back up plan ( well was Amanda given training on what to do if they received that signal? It doesn’t seem like it.. and again- not her fault!)
2.06 BRUNETTES ARE IN.avi_000543143Lee: A different microdot?
Francine: that’s right, tripod has been blown.
Lee: tripod? that’s our three agents in Leningrad right?
[ Is it just me or is the codename tripod for three agents in a country hilarious??!!-especially when combined with Francine’s blue eyeshadow 😉 ( Lee knows about 3 agents in Leningrad? tee hee.. of course he does!) I don’t know how they delivered this dialogue without cracking up laughing! Does that make Amanda, all alone in the laundromat a monopod right now? Winking smile ]
Francine: Yes, and the new microdot contains the plans to get our guys out of Russia.
In 48 hours these three agents will die if this drop doesn’t happen…
Lee: that means they could be on to our dropman. Amanda’s simple little assignment could now get her killed!
2.06 BRUNETTES ARE IN.avi_000555155
Man.. does Lee tell Billy in an “I told you so” voice.. Ouch Lee!!! Lee heads off to the drop to back up Amanda.

I don’t think it was wrong of Billy- every assignment in the spy business comes with risk… Hmmm… I think this is a little clue for what’s going on with Lee here.. I will think some more on this though! Smile

Back to the washing, and Amanda is not listening to a word her friend is saying to her.. looks like the agent, a new baddie( maybe KGB? -but we know better.. it’s Rollo!) and the two creeps are outside ready to pounce!!
Sarah: I’m afraid Freddie’s going to be puny like his father (LOL!)
Amanda responds (not really listening): Ha! gee I sure hope not! 😆 Sarah looks shocked Smile I guess she assumed Amanda would politely tell her that her husband isn’t puny! Winking smile
2.06 BRUNETTES ARE IN.avi_000571971

Amanda sees the dropguy enter the laundromat, so she drops her washing, the agent guy crouches down pretending to help and passes the sock to her.
Agent: It’s not safe
2.06 BRUNETTES ARE IN.avi_000579179
Amanda: so I guess I should fold my laundry at home?
Agent: Good idea.
😆
Amanda packs up and puts the sock in her handbag preparing to leave.
Sarah: aren’t you even going to fold those?
Amanda: No I think I’ll just fold my laundry at home. ah ha haa. It’s not safe here!
[ROFL!!]
2.06 BRUNETTES ARE IN.avi_000595995

Rollo,  grabs Amanda’s handbag and wrestles with Amanda while Lee pulls up in .. whoo hoooo!! his new car..I think this is the first time we see it isn’t it?!!
2.06 BRUNETTES ARE IN.avi_000613246

How’s this for a heroic action man intro to the corvette:
2.06 BRUNETTES ARE IN.avi_000614714
Lee is enraged to find someone attacking Amanda!!! Amanda tries really hard to hang on to her handbag yelling No no!! Good for her..[with some training she would have noticed his legs are spread.. and look where her foot is! tee hee.. one swift kick to the family jewels and Rollo is no longer a problem! ]
2.06 BRUNETTES ARE IN.avi_000616516
(Just look at all these bystanders doing nothing! ugh..) Hey! Two bystanders just vanished! tee hee..where’s the girl with the red hat and scarf and the guy she was with? lol!! hey maybe they were KGB! Winking smile

Lee runs to help but the baddie takes off- You know, I think when Amanda fell over there.. that really was Amanda.. not stunt Amanda!!! whoooo!!!!!! (pretty sure the washing was stunt washing though 😉 )
2.06 BRUNETTES ARE IN.avi_000618418
The two creeps get in the way of Lee catching the bag snatcher..(who in reality is the third creep, Rollo) Why doesn’t Lee notice? Hmm..2.06 BRUNETTES ARE IN.avi_000624024Eeewwww ewww the two creeps ‘help’ Amanda up.. and they seem to 2.06 BRUNETTES ARE IN.avi_000626893stand far too close to her for my liking. Lee can do that but these two creeps shouldn’t stand so close! 1yuck(In fact one of the baddies picks Amanda up off the ground very roughly!!! ) these bad guys just want to touch her, and it creeps me out – they really are creepy creeps! 1yuck and Lee is standing right there but doesn’t know what’s going on! ( you just wait you two you’ll get your comeuppance!!!)

Lee immediately checks Amanda is ok.. and the creeps creep away..  I hate to see Lee thank the creeps like that for their ‘help’!!! UGH!!
2.06 BRUNETTES ARE IN.avi_000632832
Again, Lee touches her arm and checks she is ok..
Lee: what happened?
Amanda: I don’t know he was just outside waiting for me.

Lee crouches down to check the laundry: well at least he didn’t get the microdot
2.06 BRUNETTES ARE IN.avi_000640840Amanda freaks!!!! Amanda: Oh my gosh he got the sock!
Lee: what?
Amanda: In my purse

2.06 BRUNETTES ARE IN.avi_0006424422.06 BRUNETTES ARE IN.avi_0006432432.06 BRUNETTES ARE IN.avi_000645645
2.06 BRUNETTES ARE IN.avi_000649649Lee: Oh my God. Why?
Amanda: the man inside said it wasn’t safe, so I thought that they would search the laundry for the sock but 2.06 BRUNETTES ARE IN.avi_000653953they would never search my purse for the sock.
[It’s Lee’s turn to freak!! ] Lee, who would put a sock in a purse.
2.06 BRUNETTES ARE IN.avi_000656056Lee
now very angry: that sock happens to represent the lives of three 2.06 BRUNETTES ARE IN.avi_000659259people, it’s a vital code that we have to have or in 48 hours three of our agents will be caught and killed…
2.06 BRUNETTES ARE IN.avi_000664064Amanda: I’m sooooorry!!!!
Lee: Sorry? I’m the one who’s sorry!….

2.06 BRUNETTES ARE IN.avi_000665665

2.06 BRUNETTES ARE IN.avi_000667267 [Lee jams the washing basket into Amanda’s arms hard]
2.06 BRUNETTES ARE IN.avi_000669169Here! [I think normally Lee would have offered to carry the basket for her.. I think he’s punishing her..]
Lee: Come on!
Lee forcefully grabs Amanda’s arm and pulls 2.06 BRUNETTES ARE IN.avi_000670503her towards his car. Waaaay too rough there Lee- that is not OK!!! Amanda turns out of his hold and storms off towards her own car
Amanda: I’ve got my own car.

A moment later she comes back towards him heading to Lee’s car.
2.06 BRUNETTES ARE IN.avi_000677677Lee: Wha?
Amanda: He’s got my keys.

2.06 BRUNETTES ARE IN.avi_000679412
Amanda has to ride with Lee. I noticed Lee doesn’t open the car door for Amanda here like he often does!  I bet that car ride was in stormy silence..

Lee is concerned for Amanda, until he realises the microdot has been taken!

Did the moment where Amanda apologises and Lee throws the sorry back at her remind anyone else of the moment in Artful Dodger where Lee does the same thing?? Very telling..  this wasn’t resolved in Artful dodger either (at least IMO)  – and here is this behaviour again..  I think Lee’s attitude towards Amanda comes to a head in this episode in a really great way. Great as in storytelling! I feel simply awful for Amanda here in this moment- not great!

You know Lee is my hero right? And I think he is a good guy!  At the same time, Lee is no angel – he has some lessons to learn, and when he screws up –  I don’t make excuses for Lee in those moments, I call him on it – for me, it makes his growth even more poignant.

Everyone is different so if you watch this last scene interpreting Lee’s behaviour as a reaction to his fear for Amanda’s safety and nothing more –Please feel free to share your opinions here – they are very welcome!! and  I hope I won’t annoy you too much when I say that for me, Lee’s behaviour here is inexcusable!! Some concern for Amanda does not excuse this or make it ok!!! Not only does he blame Amanda for the loss of the microdot, but the way he roughly picks her up like that- and she has been manhandled enough already!!! This is soooo NOT ok!!! That crosses a line Pal!!  Lee looses his temper very badly (and yep, there’s more to come!!).

I agree  with others who think Lee was concerned for Amanda, I don’t doubt that is a part of what is going on- but I think there is more to it.. We saw at the beginning of the episode Lee didn’t want Amanda to do a job by herself. After everything they have been through, he still doesn’t think she is ready for it.  I think he feels a sense of ownership of Amanda – that he should decide if and when Amanda is ready to progress– not Billy, and definitely not Amanda!

I think Lee is off balance because of his personal concern for Amanda’s safety, but also because of how he sees Amanda professionally – and this is huge – for both Lee and Amanda– I feel that this issue needs to be dealt with before they can begin to progress romantically! and this is one of the reasons I love this episode so much.. There are a number of layers to what is going on – and I love to sink my teeth into it!! (hopefully I don’t bore you with it Winking smile )

What is Lee’s attitude towards Amanda? Professionally, at this point, Lee doesn’t respect Amanda and what she contributes. He underestimates her, downplays her contributions (how many times has she been on her own and saved his butt??!!! she only did it the first time he ever met her). Personally, I think he has accepted her and values her as a friend though, it’s not like he doesn’t like her.

The fact that Amanda is doing agency work and that this involves some risk is not something Lee has dealt with yet- and if Amanda is to continue to work there he is going to need to deal with it! Amanda is the mother of two little boys.. and her safety and that of her family is very very personal to Lee – after all he committed treason to save her, because he ‘ couldn’t live with this one’ –   Lee thinks Amanda should stick by his side and stay out of trouble.. but if she is going to progress as a professional, Amanda is going to need to move beyond that..

I also think at this point that Amanda hasn’t directly challenged Lee’s view of herself as a professional ( ie that she isn’t!) –but  Amanda does think she has a contribution to make-  I think she doesn’t fully realise how good she is apart from Lee either!

When Lee has lost his temper like this- Amanda hasn’t stood up for herself.. She accepts the blame for things that are not her fault, and gives credit to Lee for things she has done! She is the amateur.. and Lee is the professional.. Eventually though– this has to change! Don’t you think? Amanda is growing and learning.. Billy sees it!! – Amanda has common sense – she’s good in the field!

Amanda didn’t choose this job, she kind of fell into it- so in this episode it is time for her to make a choice for herself about her future in the agency. It’s time for Amanda to decide what she wants to get out of this agency stuff- does she want to progress? get more responsibility? take on more risk? Why is she doing it?? Is it all about helping Lee? helping her country?? well.. I think by the end of this episode both Lee and Amanda have a much much better understanding of each other and themselves (and lucky us we get to understand them better also! )

Such good stuff is coming!! ( and no wet Lee! 😉 ) This whole theme is mentioned again in Welcome to America Mr Brand.. and it’s one of the reasons I like that episode – again Amanda and her professional choices, her progression are front and centre!!! I Love how smk tells this story!! [It’s not all about the romance] – but I love the line where Mr Brand tells Amanda he can’t just go back to being an accountant.. ‘ for the same reason you are not home folding nappies Mrs King. I’ve always wanted more. ‘ – Amanda doesn’t argue with that.. Mr Brand’s right..and it’s an interesting (and rare) insight into her character..

It’s time that both Lee and Amanda see this too! Agree or disagree with me if you like.. but so far in this episode this is how I see it – Lee doesn’t see Amanda as a professional in her own right – only as an assistant to Lee, and she shouldn’t  do jobs without his okay.. well.. Times are a changin!! Winking smile tee heee..

Hey I was thinking the whole point of the microdot being in a sock was so no one would guess where it was… so wouldn’t the KGB not know it was in a sock? so why put it in your purse? a purse would be a more obvious place to put it than in a sock in a washing basket..a sock doesn’t belong in a purse..  that was the whole point..? my head hurts!!

Okay think I have jabbered on enough already! I look forward to hearing your thoughts! thanks for reading!!! I hope  you are enjoying this episode as much as I am!! ( errr although Lee screaming at Amanda is not enjoyable- but what eventually comes from it all is!! Smile ) Back with more soon!!

I love that. I don’t know why, but it just strikes me as such a clever bit of writing.

    1. I think if I were Amanda, I would have taken a cab over riding with him at this point, Amanda is such a sweet person, sure she messed up, but she surely didnt deserve being treated like that!!!!

Wanna know a secret? Amanda was actually my fave character for most of this series, not Lee (although I did think he was cute, his attitude toward Amanda was a HUGE turn off, even as a kid).

      1. Yes, riding with him would be the last resort. And I agree Lee comes off sounding mean sometimes- my husband walked past when I was watching one of the earlier episodes & said “Why is that guy such a jerk?” So I had to try to explain that he wasn’t really a jerk, you had to watch the show, but he is TOTALLY not interested. So glad I have you guys to communicate with occasionally!
And Amanda is my favorite character too.

      2. Norma, absolutely Amanda was my favorite always. I was a fan of KJ since I was 8 years old and she was the reason we watched the show to begin with, so I’m sure that was part of it, of course. Nothing against Lee. 😉

  2. I’ve always thought that, though Lee’s roughness on Amanda in the post-laundomat scenes is unfair and hard to take, he is really hanging on by a thread emotionally here because of the three agents who will likely die. It always seemed likely to me that he knew one or more of them personally, and that was why he was so uncharacteristically rough on her (as opposed to the Artful Dodger roughness, which I connect more with jealousy). It’s not logical for him to blame her, true, but I think he thinks if only she had just done what she was told and left the sock in the laundry basket where it was supposed to be and not gotten “clever” and improvised by putting the sock in her purse those three agents, whom I assume he knows personally, would be fine, and now they are probably going to die.

    1. Welcome welcome Colleen!!!! so glad you could join us!

Indeed.. Lee doesn’t always have to be logical 😉 It’s hard to watch him treat Amanda that way, but it’s a real watershed episode – and I wouldn’t have it any other way 🙂

If they had gone with your suggestion Colleen, I would have better understood Lee’s sudden outburst here.. shame they didn’t listen to you! 🙂

  3. Rats. I’m wishing I wasn’t too OCD to just skip ahead … Here I am making observations that seem original to me only to discover you made the same connections a post or two later and yes, two years earlier. ROTFLMAO… Maybe I should just take some Prozac and skip to Weasel??? Hahahahaha

And I still have thoughts on AD to organize. Eeeep…

    1. Phooey Karen! you keep those thoughts coming!
Firstly- A thought may have already been shared two years ago but – we haven’t heard what you think 🙂

And.. I can’t remember two years ago! rofl!!

and.. you give us a lovely reminder of previous happenings for the characters!!!

So feel free to share your thoughts anyway – doesn’t matter if someone has already said it- you are sharing what you think – and that is a worthwhile thing indeed!!! 🙂

Plus heck.. I just love Brunettes are in! 😉

btw- I hear ya on the OCD… I swear that’s why I started this blog and am going through the show one ep at a time – I want to follow the journey and the flow of it – skipping ahead pulls us out of that..
Though ahem.. if there is a way you can keep working your way through, and simultaneously join the episode we are currently discussing – that would be awesome too! 🙂

I don’t think you’ll need prozac, we are all currently swooning over Lee’s eyes in that blue jacket in the great outdoors.. hooo haaaa!

Oh cool I look forward to hearing your thoughts on the Artless Dodger 😉

      byee!

Ohhh I know I can’t tell anyone how to feel – but I can say I never think anyone is silly for saying what they think – even if it’s already been said.. if it makes you feel better – when you find someone else has already voiced the idea you just shared you can always send them a little reply saying- I just thought the same thing and I agree! I’m sure people love to hear that 🙂
Does that help reduce silly feelings? We all do it! 🙂

    3. Hi Karen! I understand about being too OCD to skip ahead- I am so far behind in these blog posts having discovered them only recently. I’m hoping I’ll catch up before iwsod gets to the end of the series! Sometimes a I feel a little silly commenting on stuff that’s years old. But you guys are really great about responding to stuff even though I’m talking about previous posts. 🙂

  4. I think Lee was scared when he rolled up to the laundromat and saw Amanda being manhandled. I always wondered why Lee didn’t take off after purse snatcher….anyway….once he found out she was o.k., and then found out the Microdot was not with her laundry, he went into his rude, impatient how could you be so stupid mode..typical Lee…..(I can’t stand this Lee at times)…Amanda was insulted because after all, she was just manhandled and shoved into a laundry basket and had her purse snatched and all she’s getting from Lee is his attitude…..I don’t blame her for jerking out of his grasp…..but my favorite part is coming up….three words…..”Well…Hot Momma”…..this just cracks me up.

  5. I think I am actually a lot more forgiving then some of us here in the way Lee is acting in the above scenes. Yes he is being a jerk to Amanda no doubt, and it’s hard to watch as she has just been traumatized herself, but Lee’s emotions are in overdrive here. First his worry for Amanda sets in as he realizes this isn’t going to be as safe as an assignment as Billy had previously assured him, then you see his rage and worry as he pulls up and sees Amanda being attacked. Then he hasn’t even had time to recover from that upset when he finds out the microdot is gone and the lives of 3 fellow agents are in danger. It’s been one emotional sucker punch after another and his temper just goes the way of the wind. C’mon no one can be in control all the time. That being said do feel sorry for Amanda. She’s been run through the emotional ringer too and then has to suffer baring the brunt of Lee’s frustration. It’s just a bad situation.

  6. Random thought: Do you think the baddie is named “Pearce/Pierce?” as an in-joke because Pierce Brosnan was Bruce Boxleitner’s rival for hottiest hot guy on TV at the time?

I hate how rough Lee is with Amanda at the laundromat; I think he was scared and falls back into the “parenting” role he knows best – the harsh discipline that he (spoiler alert!) he probably received from his uncle. For Lee, even though what happened wasn’t Amanda’s fault, it proves his point: she isn’t ready to be on her own. If he had been there, he believes, everything would have been fine.

And Amanda, like a kid being scolded in public by a parent, is understandably resentful. She recognizes that he is treating her like a child, and she doesn’t like it. She’s determined to prove she DOESN’T need him (she has her own car!). But of course the baddies have her keys, so she is forced to rely on him for a ride. For me, this symbolizes that even as children grow into independent adults, they still occasionally need help and guidance.

  7. OK what IS that awful jumper/jacket thing Amanda is wearing?! Hideous…with those puffy sleeves. Am surprised she can fit through a doorway 😉
I can sort of see Her logic of putting the sock in her purse. The idea was to hide the item in plain sight with the rest of the washing. Knowing if the KGB would make a move they would be likely to go for the most obvious target ie the washing hiding the sock makes sense. Well it does in my head LOL
Lee if there was one thing I’d change its your need to be right all the time. Amanda was mugged and you’re having a go at her 😦 She didn’t make any mistakes and yet again you’re blaming her for things beyond her control. Am sure some of this is driven by not liking seeing her attacked but also that need to be proved right all the time. lee thinks he knows best for everybody but sadly that isn’t the case. Lee like Amanda is going to have to learn that you make your own choices. He needs to let go a little and she need to step up and stand up for what she wants out of all this 🙂
Love how Amanda strops off saying she’s got her own car. How I wish she’s kept her keys separate…..

I think Lee and Amanda hold pinky fingers at the end of Our Man in Tegernsee, after they are leaving the police station for the last time and before the officer comes back to ask Amanda about Jamie. It’s really cute and not really explained…I don’t remember them doing it in the beginning of the episode, but it’s been awhile since I’ve seen it.

      1. Yes, that’s the episode-Tegernsee! LOL Sorry I know she just kinda tugs pinkies with him but as a child “pinky swear” always stuck in my head. And even then I think I knew it was quite an intimate and cute gesture for them at that point. It speaks of a closer relationship than what I thought they had in early season 2. Thoughts on that?
I think i just love how Amanda looks in Bromfield Hall. Especially her spaghetti strapped dress. Why she gets gets weighted down by those huge shoulder pads half the time is beyond me. Oh, and I just adore John Rhys-Davies. He is in two of my favorite movies series Lord of the Rings and Indiana Jones.

      2. Yes, I would agree they are really growing closer in their relationship in season two….much more holding hands and touching going on than in the past. You can really see that they care for each other as more than co- workers. I love how Lee is always putting his hand on Amanda’s back to guide her, and sometimes grabbing her hand (right now thinking of them crossing the street in Times they are changing— he really does have a firm grip). Anyway it is good to see them progressing beyond Lee just tolerating Amanda to actually enjoying her company. 🙂

  11. I think the responsibility Lee feels for Amanda is both professional and personal. He wants her to progress only as far as he wants and at the speed he wants. He enjoys the knight-in-shining-armor come-to-the rescue part he plays in their relationship. Conveniently ignoring that she comes to his rescue, too. (Oh, wait, she only assists with his own rescue. Yeah, that’s it. 😉 ) Her growth is, in essence, scary to him. If she grows too much, she won’t need him. This is reflected better in a later scene. (Sorry to jump ahead here.) The personal feelings he doesn’t recognize add strength to this need to be needed.

I’ll add my welcome to all new folks who are enjoying these posts as much as me. I don’t comment a lot, but I do enjoy hearing different viewpoints about SMK. Such fun to share in this great way! Thanks, IWSOD, for sharing your blog with us.

  12. Hello, my name is Christine and I am a SMK fan. I have so many fond memories of sitting on the floor in my grandma’s living room watching SMK with her on her small Zenith tv. It’d been years since I’d seen an episode when I stumbled across all four seasons on Amazon about two months ago. I spent a whole month watching, and rewatching. every episode. Two weeks ago I found your site. Oh my you have made me laugh, and ponder some of the more interesting moments. Love your tidbits about scenery and bloopers. Anywho, when I saw your latest post I had to comment! LOL i just finished watching Mr. Brand tonight!!! ugh i hate it when Lee gets on Amanda for situations out of her control. Yet, Lee reminds me of myself sometimes so i totally GET IT. He cares for her, too much. Scares the crap out of him. So yes i think his anger toward her about the microchip is in part due to her being in danger. I’m so glad she at least visually showed her displeasure with him instead of how she was in the Artful Dodger, just sitting there taking the abuse. Can’t wait for your take on the family room discussion! Thank you so much for your posts. This one had me in stitches tonight! Would have loved to see Rollo get kicked in the family jewels.

    1. Welcome Christine!!!

It sounds like you had a very groovy grandma!! 🙂

What’s your favourite episode? Isn’t it wonderful to rediscover this show?? and find others who share your love for it?!
(Anyone else like to share their favourite? I find it very hard to pick just one!! )

Thanks for your kind words Christine- I’m really excited that you have decided to jump in and post! It is very encouraging to me to hear that you are enjoying this blog – I hope we will get to hear your thoughts as we walk through the episodes together!
You will find that there are plenty of savvy smk fans who stop by here and share fascinating insights from all over the world- how fabulous! And share a laugh.. and a drool over Lee.. 😉

It honestly makes my day to hear from people who are reading- Thank you!! and it spurs me on to keep going!! 🙂

Ohh I am so jealous! because I am in Australia I can’t watch amazon prime.. I am just hanging in there waiting for those lovely clear season 4 dvds to arrive!! there are episodes I have never seen in clear picture!! I bet there are lots of things I’ve been missing that are just waiting to be discovered!

Yes isn’t it funny you were only watching Mr Brand last night – I would rather Mr Brand than the artful dodger anyday! ( one of the only smk episodes I loathe!!!- but I know not everyone else feels the same way I do 🙂 )

Amanda’s missed opportunity had me laughing too- I didn’t notice it at first until I was just checking the post one more time before posting – is that her foot? between his legs?? missed opporunity!! 🙂 tee heee..

Hey Everyone! Please join me in welcoming Christine!

      Byeeeee!

      1. Thanks for the welcome! Hmm, favorite episode…oh gee, I have several! Bromfield Hall (Amanda is just beautiful here), Triumvirate (steamy, covert glances are hot!!), Over the Limit is A LOT of fun, and oh what is the one where Lee and Amanda “pinky swear” at the end of the epi? So many more but since my kids keep interrupting me it’ll take me the rest of the night to list them. (I started typing this this morning and it’s now 5:30PM!!!

        1. HI Chrstine! Hey I don’t know if there is an episode with a pinky swear at the end of the episode- can anyone think of it?? but there is a pinky grab in Our man in Tegernsee- near the beginning of the episode..

Hey would it be a good if I started a ‘ which episode was it?? ‘ thread/post – where people can post asking which episode something was in? I am happy to do it if you like the idea.. but I would prefer everyone answer people’s queries rather than me alone if that makes sense.. Would you like me to do that so you can help each other with which episode was what in? LOL.. I might need a hand too!

Let me know if you are up for it and I’ll happily do it!

Triumvirate is gorgeous isn’t it!! I can’t wait to get to that episode!! I will need my smelling salts for that one! It’s been a really long time since I watched over the limit!

Bromfield Hall is coming up very soon! Christine I hope you will be able to share with us what you love about it.. sometimes I confess I have a love/ hate relationship with that episode!! 🙂

Glad to hear your kids are priority and not smk LOL! Hang in there!!! and lovely to hear from you Christine!
