   What a fitting Christmas tribute, Iwsod. I do love that scene with Amanda raising a toast for world peace. How fitting to quote it in the middle of Playing Possum where we again see Russia and the US working together. Hmm, thinking about it, I wonder if that was deliberate on the part of the SMK writers, to write/air a show during the Christmas season that revisits the previous year’s Christmas theme of Russia and the US putting their differences aside and working together.

   Belatedly Merry Christmas to all, and many blessings in the New Year!

     That’s a great observation Raffie, about the connection between playing possum and the long christmas eve – you might be on to something and it could explain another reason why they changed the episode order somewhat in season 2!

     I’m jealous Christy! Christmas for me was a very hot day indeed!!! – and I still had to cook a roast!! ugh!! 🙂 but.. at least it was yummy! Indeed.. Jesus is the reason for the season.. and Santa? a creation of Coca Cola!! eek!! 😉

       It’s been a very white and unseasonably cold Christmas here. It’s supposed to drop to -27 Celsius (-17 F) today. BRRRRRR!, I am glad I don’t have to go out and am going to enjoy the turkey chowder I have simmering on the stove. Peace to everyone!
