6/15 Season Three, Episode 8: Reach for the Sky-Scarecrow and Mrs King

Moving on, we see the corvette pull up in front of Zorbel’s townhouse.. (how does he know where he lives? Lol I guess he has his ways Winking smile )  The birds are chirping in Zorbel’s neighbourhood! Lee approaches the front door..
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001197297What’s with the sudden sparkly music as Lee lets himself into Zorbel’s? too funny.. guess they gotta do something to make this story with Zorbel interesting!
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001203303Why does Lee need such a huge set of lock picks? haaa!
Lee goes to pick Zorbel’s lock and finds a wire attached to the door…
Doesn’t Lee look gorgeous here out in the sunshine?? if only his hair moved… anyone else seeing a slight grey tinge to his hair?? Is this what Amanda meant when she said Lee always found the silver lining? Winking smile
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001219319His hair is much more interesting than this lame attempt at spycraft! LOL! Is it just me or is this wire attaching thing totally lame looking??
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001230530
Though.. I love that it’s a blue wire!! Winking smile
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_0012383383.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001245345
He just happened to have that wire thingy and clamp thingy handy?? Macgyver it ain’t.
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001246346
So ironic that after this little trick Lee looks quite content with himself.. smug almost!
I guess that big man purse is a ‘break into a high tech criminal’s apartment’ kit.. as opposed to the ‘break into some dumb schlep’s apartment’ kit.. ahem.. Yep I’m getting distracted! Focus iwsod!

The shot cuts to the interior as Lee opens the door –
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001255355
Zorbel has a fancy phone too?? Looks like the bank of New Hebron took up a two for the price of one offer for their top staff! teee heee..
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001263363Lee finds a book full of codes..
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001280380
and Billy surprises Lee! haaaa.. he was hiding behind the curtain (That old trick?! Winking smile )
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001284384Billy: I’ve got it all on film.  I noticed you didn’t take any casing pictures.  Why don’t you just leave Zorbel a note telling him that we were here?

[rofl! Billy now is not the time to do a spot check on Lee’s spying skills.. tee hee!! Still interesting that Billy who is not in the field as much as Lee is being more careful]
Lee:  I don’t care about Zorbel.
Billy:  Well that’s too bad because he certainly cares about you.
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001293393
Billy points out the 3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001294394surveillance camera.. I guess Lee is being so brazen because he has 48 hours to save Billy’s career? At least.. I hope that’s why.. because Lee looks like a total (but very attractive) amateur in this scene!
Billy:  I covered the lens.
Oohhh Leee.. so young.. so reckless.. let the wise old man teach you a thing or two! haaaaa…Except Lee isn’t interested in learning anything right now..
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001299399Lee:   Will you forget about him.  I’ve come to take you back.  Now if Dr. Smyth wasn’t slightly imperfect, you’d already be sanitized.  You know that?  Fortunately, he has a nice spot.
[Interesting.. slightly imperfect.. ‘nice spot’??? I’m not convinced!!!]
Billy:  If I stop now, Allan Aghaney died in vain.
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001306406Lee sighs audibly
Billy:  He left me an envelope with some of his notes of what he pieced together – for insurance.
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001313413Lee:  Minding his manners?
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001317417[Seems Lee is not interested in evidence.. he just thinks it’s a couple of silly old spies getting up to mischief? (Old spies never retire, they just go undercover! Isn’t that the gag?!)
Come on you two!! do you have to have this conversation in Zorbel’s office??!!!!]
Billy:  Yes, he was always careful.  It looks like some kind of big league bank robbery, maybe a billion dollars.
Lee:  A billion dollars?
Billy nods
Lee:  The Bank of New Hebron can’t carry cash like that.
Billy:  Well it’s not just one bank.  It’s banks.  It has something to do with a scheme involving satellites and microwave transmissions.
[Microwave transmissions??!!!! How did he say this with a straight face?!!!]
…International electronic cash transfers.
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001332432[Whooo IECT’s! Winking smile ]
Lee:  High tech?
Billy nods again.
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001340440Lee:  Now who do you think can execute something like that? [whose office are you standing in?! okay.. maybe he’s thinking bigger than that – but it is totally stupid that they are talking like this here!]
(Billy hands Lee the cyclops die)
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001344444
Lee:  Huh.  A single dot on every side.  Yeah, I’ve heard about this.
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001350450
[ahhh Lee.. he’s heard of everything! and everyone!]
Billy:  A very fancy kind of calling card for Cyclops.
Lee:  Cyclops?  Billy, listen to me.  You’re not thinking straight.
(wha?!!)
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001357457Billy:  Huh?
Lee:  Let me take you back inside.
[not thinking straight?! how condescending!! bad idea Lee! He just strengthens Billy’s resolve. Lee you should have known better… there have been a few times where someone you have an obligation to or a friendship with who has been on the line – and you have wanted to go it alone – why should Billy be any different?]
Billy:  No, no, no –
Lee: We can do it –
Billy:
  (at the same time)
  -No, no, no
Lee:  WE can do it.
Billy:   No, no NO!..
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001364464
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001365465  …Not yet!  Cyclops is real!  And it’s deadly.  It killed Allan Aghaney and I want my revenge!…
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001367467
…Now believe me, Scarecrow, I am not going soft in the brain!  Cyclops is the most powerful collection of international criminals in the world.
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001375475Lee: Damn it!!!  Cyclops is a myth, Billy.
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001382482[Is it just me or does anyone else scratch their head and wonder why Lee is suddenly so angry and disbelieving?? usually he would be open to hearing ideas..or at least investigating.. and they have 48 hours- this scene just really doesn’t work for me.]
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001383483
Smart money even admits it doesn’t exist.
Zorbel sneaks in and clocks (get it?!) Lee on the back of the head.. He’s knocked out momentarily.
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001386486
[Check it out!! BB’s eyes are closed before Zorbel hits him.. love how Zorbel actually grabs Lee’s arm, but still manages to surprise Lee!! whwhhaahahaa!!
Don’t worry this super polite baddie just waved the gun behind Lee’s head Winking smile ]
Lee: Oh!
Zorbel:  Smart money isn’t always right.
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001389489Billy:  You killed Allan Aghaney!
[yeah!!! so Billy decided to stay for a long chat with Lee in your office! whahaha]
(Zorbel takes Lee’s gun)
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001395495Zorbel:  Aghaney was a fool too.  Let’s go.
Lee  grunts on the floor
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001397497Billy:  Stay out of this Scarecrow.  I’ll get Cyclops on my own.
Lee:  No!
Billy:  Let him live!  I’ll go with you peacefully.
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001398498Zorbel:  Certainly.  No point in provoking you to foolish resistance.  You still have so much to tell us.
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001399499(Zorbel shoves Billy toward the door)
As Billy is lead out, Lee comes to on the floor and runs his hands through his hair – don’t worry Lee, still lookin good.. 😉
Billy:  Stay the hell out of this, Scarecrow!
Billy and Zorbel leave.

I tell you what.. I’m sorry but I’ve got nothing but nark for this scene!! I guess this is the low point in the episode for me.. Poor Billy is led away – though I really don’t see why Zorbel would have worried about foolish resistance.. he had a gun.. and why let Lee live and give him the chance to spoil his plans?! What a polite baddie!!!

We see Zorbel lead Billy to get into his Red Limited edition..
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001425525
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001440540just look at the corvette parked behind it – Lee really did leave a huge sign out  the front saying: ‘hey Zorbel!! I’m in your house!!!’ when he parked that car out the front of his place like that!
Lee comes out and can’t see Billy..
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001452552
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001456556so Lee asks a lady who has her back to him: Miss?  Excuse me, two guys came out of here…
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001459559… Is that them in the car over there?

Ohhh Lee you usually have such a way with the ladies.. but this one is Daisy!!! Get ready for spot the stunt man and stunt woman!
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001461561
Daisy turns around and starts shooting at him! with a reeeally big gun!!!
rofl! how could he possibly have
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001464064avoided those bullets?!!
Stunt Lee jumps over a car and lands on the road, putting a barrier between him and that gun.. lol when Daisy starts stalking down the footpath (sidewalk!) you can see in the wide
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001464464shot that a different car is parked in front of Lee’s.. we just saw Zorbel’s car pull out from there! lol!!

3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001467967Actually, now I think about it – I’m not even sure that’s the same street?!!
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001470970
Suddenly in the wide shot, stunt Lee jumps on a car bonnet and kicks the gun out of stunt Daisy’s hand.. how he got up there without her seeing? no idea! 3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001471971
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001472272
In the close up.. it’s Daisy again… Is that Lee’s leg?! Winking smile tee hee..
(It’s almost like she expected him to kick the big gun out of her hand! he’s right in front of her and she still doesn’t see him haaaaaaaaaaa!  Winking smile )
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001473273Daisy whacks the back of Lee’s knees.. Lee??
Ouch.. she kicks Lee’s butt!!!
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001473973Nope.. stunt Lee!
It cuts and Lee lands on the roof.. lol.
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001474774
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001476276Daisy gets on the car too.. and lines up stunt Lee for a good kick…
It cuts to Lee getting whacked by a leg…. whahahaha.. this scene is nuts!
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001477777
Oh please.. not the face!! Oh nooo she got him fair and square on the forehead!!! the face!!!!!
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001478078It cuts to stunt Daisy sending stunt Lee flying.. he somersaults over the car.. poor Lee!! His head has taken a beating in the last five minutes!

Man.. I could spend a whole post covering every switch between stunt person and character!..errr you get the idea! Winking smile

Whoa!! Lee kicks Daisy right in the mouth! Daisy gets the upper hand pretty quickly again though.
The look on Lee’s face as he fends off her punches here is Hilarious!!!!!
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001487987
My favourite part of this scene.. Well done!! 😆
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001488788It’s all there on his face.. I’m in trouble! Who is this woman?!
She just punched in the car window?? and it didn’t bother her??!! Oh my gosh.. this isn’t cyclops- this is the terminator!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Time for a tactical retreat Lee!! but.. he can’t get away..
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001493593Luckily Lee manages to wind up firstly crashing into randomly placed furniture – 3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001493993whahahaaa.. a couch!!! Out on the street??!!! He lands on a couch!!! whahaha..how humiliating! Winking smile  now that is hilarious!!!
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001497097
and then.. stunt Daisy kicks stunt Lee and he ends up  in the back of a removal truck
3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001497797
– and instead of finishing him off forever, 3.08 REACH FOR THE SKY.avi_001499599Daisy just closes the truck door.. (someone must have told Daisy that Lee is the star of the show and to let him live Winking smile ) Another polite baddie!!

Oh dear.. this post seems to be full of nark! umm.. forgive me?! I do love this show honest..  It can only get better from here I think!!! soooooo do tell!! Umm anyone love this section? If so.. just ignore me and share away what you love about it! Daisy scaring Lee IS hilarious btw! Okay byee for now!!

  1. At first I was suspicious of who actually read the romance novels (and I’m still not completely convinced it was Amanda’s mom) but then I remembered when my grandmother talked about her soaps and yeah, it’s totally believable you’d hear that much about the plot. (Although the fact that she remembers that much still makes me suspicious.

  2. As far as Lee’s behavior, I chalked it up to he’s worried. Billy is a good friend and we know we can’t trust Psycho Smyth. Plus at one point, Billy said “I want my revenge,” not “I want the truth,” which may have thrown off the tone of the conversation. This is someone who has always tried to keep Lee in line and now he’s the one going off on a revenge kick. Not good.

And we know that when Lee is feeling protective and loyal, he gets hot-tempered and manages to stick his foot in it sometimes. (Okay, most times!)

  3. Re the lock picking kit: Okay, confession. A few years ago I ordered a lockpicking kit because I wanted to learn after seeing it all the time on It Takes A Thief, Remington Steele, etc. (I’m never going to use it but I want to know!) And I had intentions of using my mom’s old cigarette case for it, but the tools are actually too long. So if that’s what you meant, hopefully that helps. If you mean why he has so many tools — I have yet to actually take the time to learn it, so I can’t clear that one up yet.)

  4. Okay, I’m going to jump into the fray on this scene that I don’t like. I’m going to chalk Lee’s uncharacteristic behavior up to the fact that Amanda is not at his side as she has been for so long and he doesn’t know how to function without her as a back-up. She would have kept an eye out for the camera, would have calmed him down in how he was talking to Billy, thrown a baseball through window to warn of Zorbel’s imminent arrival, and would have somehow helped in the Daisy ruckus. She has been such an integral part of Lee’s work and now he’s missing his right arm, his partner. Lee is off his game because Amanda is not around. That’s the explanation that my brain has come up with for this fiasco of a scene the just doesn’t work for me.

    1. Valerie, I like your take on this otherwise irritatingly awful scene. Lee is very sloppy here, is rude and condescending to his superior, and gets his can kicked. Things like that never happen when Amanda is around.

      Like

    2. Valerie, that was exactly what I was going to say. I think it went badly for Lee and even for Billy because they were ALONE. No more lone wolf agent stuff for those two. They are all part of a team and they need to stick with it. Division of labor is good, but Lee needs Amanda at his side and Billy needs to rely on them as a team as well.

      1. While I love all the ideas of Lee needing Amanda and Lee and Billy needing to be part of the team – I think this is a little bit too much of a stretch for me.
Lee being alone here has turned him into an incompetent agent – when you are alone you are still a top agent – you’re just not as good as when you are part of a team 🙂

but don’t mind me.. I like all this silver lining finding 🙂
[as opposed to my version which finds BB has grey highlights in his hair!]

        1. Oh, I see the grey! I kind of like it. Actually I have noticed it in his hair for a while now (I think it is one of the reasons they tried to keep his hair back like that in the later seasons) But it shows the fact that Lee is getting older and more mature and beginning to want to be a bit more settled. That will be an interesting idea to watch for.
I do think the idea of this scene illustrating Lee needing to not be alone here is a stretch. But… oh, heck, I am a dancer, stretching is my business 😉

              1. I like the grey streak. And also not in favour of dyeing. Somehow, a man looks more distinguished with some grey (and it’s served George Clooney well…)

    3. I really like your reasoning! I think that you’re right – Lee has come to count on Amanda being by his side, and her absence is throwing him off. Well said, Valarie!

  5. Just read the script for these two scenes – the script is way better save for some clunky dialog about Cyclops between Lee and Billy. However, the action around Zorbel and Daisy is much more realistic. Best of all, no stupid elaborate fight between Lee and Daisy.
This is one of those occasions when they should definitely have gone with the scripted version of events.
Would be interested to hear what others think when you’ve read these two scenes in the script.

      1. thanks or the encouragement to read the script kiwismh and Jo! I don’t have as time to check the scripts half as much as I would like 😦 boo!!
But.. I did check this out on your recommendation and you are soooo right.. oh dear.. now this section of the episode looks that much more lame!!
The script left Lee with some dignity and still actually acting like a spy – while doubting what billy was up to and still unprepared for Cyclops.
        Oh well..

  6. OK, very strange random thought. Does anyone else hear a little bit of Jimmy Stewart in It’s a Wonderful Life in Lee’s voice when he’s telling Billy he’s not thinking straight?

Learjet5, I’ll second your nomination of Daisy for favorite SMK baddie! 🙂

Oh, dear! There is so much wrong with the editing in this “fight” scene. Lee’s shoes change color; Daisy’s hair changes color; the cars on the street change; the bricks on the buildings change; sometimes there’s a wrought-iron fence, sometimes there’s a brick wall…ugh!

On the other hand, I really do kinda like that little drop-leaf table behind the moving van…

    Like

    1. Yes, very careless of the moving guys to leave all that nice furniture out on the footpath where it could get stolen, or at least kicked around a bit should there be, oh, I don’t know, say a fracas in the street. 😉
I was going to say funny how everyone – passers-by, moving guys, neighbours – disappear when the fight is on but then I think we have to assume that anyone who might be in the vicinity immediately ducks for cover. On the other hand – with Lee and Daisy and all the stunt people in that scene the street really was quite crowded. 😉

  7. Lee does come off looking like a bit of a twit here. Daisy is my hero – I shouldn’t love her so much because she humiliates Lee, but I think she’s in the running for my favourite baddie in SMK. It’s great that SMK chose a woman to ‘put Lee in his place’. With reference to stunt Lee/BB/stunt Lee and so on, I see that the actress who played Daisy (Ty Randolph) did all her own stunts and is an expert in karate, hand-to-hand combat, sword-fighting. Girl Power!! I like seeing this on 80s TV – women like Francine were apparently good at all this, but we don’t see it on SMK.

I agree with kiwismh that they’re trying to show us that Lee’s underestimated the baddies. My question is: why is Lee’s judgement so off in this situation? Overwhelming concern for Billy is clouding his judgement? Something else?

    Liked by 1 person

    1. Yes, Lee is not so focussed as he would normally be. Mind on other things? Maybe he’s had a few really nice dates with a lovely lady lately that might be occupying his thoughts? 😉

      Like

    2. I had also noticed that the actress who played Daisy was known for doing her own stunts. I wonder why not here? I don’t like to see Lee looking so silly — how many blows did he land? One or two?? Surely he has some basic martial arts training too, enough to do more than just sprawl all over the cars and furniture. And I don’t know why she didn’t kill him. That was a gun, wasn’t it? I almost think it must have been a high-tech something else, because after she got the gun kicked out of her hand, she sure didn’t try very hard to kill him, making me think her orders must have been to just keep him from following. Iwsod, you’re not the only one who has a problem with these couple of scenes. They just don’t seem to have much connection to the story, or even to the SMK world and character’s journeys in general.

      Like

      1. Yeah go actress who plays Daisy! I think she’s fabulous.. and this is partly to do with the name.. love it!

I figured Daisy didn’t shoot Lee because he had kicked the gun into another dimension 😉 tee hee!

If the daisy actress usually does her own stunts.. it would be a shame she didn’t do them all here – why didn’t she? I suspect it would be a case of needing to get the episode completed on time – aspects of this lame fight scene were probably filmed by second unit – while the main characters were filming other stuff.. this is not uncommon ( I worked for some of the crew on the matrix movies once.. long story but one of them was a second unit director this is how I know this)- often second unit will film everything that does not have the main characters in it..while the rest of the filming is going on – saves time- they would film the corvette pulling up out front of Zorbel’s apartment at a distance (and putting up a big sign saying: Zorbel!!! I’m in your apartment!!! 😉 tee hee

Parts of the fight scene where you don’t see Lee or Daisy’s faces.. from a distance.. were probably filmed by Second unit. I hope that makes sense? I don’t know that much about film or tv.. but I had picked up this little bit of info in my travels 🙂

Curious to hear what you think Happy Camper, of kiwismh’s idea of what they were trying to show about Lee..
but ..glad to hear it’s not just me who finds this section of the episode a low point 🙂

        Like

        1. Yeah, I think kiwismh is right about what they’re trying to do. A few minutes before, Lee denies that Cyclops even exists. So Zorbel gets the drop on him, and Daisy beats him up in a totally one-sided fight . . . now he’s GOT to take them seriously. But it really just doesn’t work for me — it’s too over-the-top, making it unbelievable. It would have been a great plot point if Lee had been too cocky about Cyclops and got his butt kicked (literally) by Daisy, but if it had just been toned down enough to make it believable. Lee is a super-spy and I’m sure has had training in martial arts and self-defense; I can’t believe that, even taken by surprise, he would have been so inept. It’s not just Lee, either: How on earth could Daisy not see him sneaking around behind the cars like that?

I also zeroed in on Lee’s use of “Miss” when he speaks to Daisy. I think that was the writers’ way of showing how far Lee was from considering her a threat: “Miss” is rather patronizing, and most likely used when the person so addressed could be considered young, unsophisticated, generally harmless. Trouble is, it’s not the title he would use to accost a woman from behind on the street, and I don’t think it would have been used in the 80’s either. He has no idea whether she’s young or old, and even from the back her attire is a far cry from unsophisticated. I think he would have said “Ma’am”, and so the attempt to convey a point doesn’t quite ring true.

Thanks for the insider info on second unit filming, Iwsod!

          Like

            1. The ‘miss’ also irritates me, but then ‘ms’ would have bugged me more and ‘lady’ would have enfuriated me. I think they’re trying to show us Lee’s a gentleman, but it doesn’t quite work.
I just find the whole fight scene hilarious (which probably wasn’t what they were aiming for….)

              Like

              1. I wonder if they were aiming for it to be funny learjet.. even if just a little.. because that moment where lee turns and looks at the camera and is all scared? is funny! And I think it is suppose to be funny.. but if they thought we would find the whole scene of Lee being humiliated funny.. they miscalculated on that one!

            1. I agree, this fight scene is really lame. I have no idea how Miss Daisy misses Lee when she first turns around and tries to shoot Lee. She’s in slow motion and gives him time to dive over the car. And I’m all for girl power and all that, but this is Lee Stetson we’re talking about! The only woman I want to see put him in his place is Amanda. Or perhaps Francine, but only like she did in S1 with the “You owe me a dinner” comeback. Has Amanda put him in his place yet? I don’t think we’ve ever seen that yet. Maybe TGTN is the closest she comes? She’s really not the “put you in your place” kind of gal with Lee, though is she? We’ll have to see if that comes out as we continue our walk. I really don’t remember. It’s been so long since I’ve watched ahead of where we are on the blog.

  8. I was thinking that Zorbel already had a ticking off from Canaan for killing Aghaney, so maybe he didn’t want to risk another murder. Maybe Daisy was under instructions not to kill as well – but why just beat up an agent? That’s just going to make Lee mad and determined.
I’m not a big fan of this fight scene mainly because I don’t like to see Lee getting beaten up… by a woman no less. I think they were trying to show that Lee maybe underestimated Zorbel, Daisy, Cyclops. From now on he should be taking them a lot more seriously.
Funny screen caps – how embarrassing for Lee – but should generate some very amusing memes. 😀

    1. You know this actually makes me feel a little better about this scene.. that the whole point of it was to highlight how Lee is underestimating Billy, Cyclops, Zorbel, Daisy.. that makes sense to me!

It does help explain why they chose to have Lee look like a dill.. poor Lee.. but a good lesson for him..
Billy’s comment about not taking casing pictures also highlights how Lee has just stormed into the middle of this situation completely unprepared for anything – very un top agent like.. err if that’s English?! 😉

Hmm when Zorbel went back to Canaan and said I found an agent in my office but I didn’t kill him I let him live – I don’t think Canaan would have been too thrilled.. wahahhaa.. actually back in his office Canaan told Zorbel that if Lee was a problem that he should deal with him – I took that to be permission to kill him.. oh dear.. the more I look at this plot the less sense it makes..
but then.. Kiwismh you did help me make some sense of how the writers are maybe trying to highlight how Lee has underestimated everything..
      Bye!
