As you guys know, I’ve had to buy a new computer.. I am currently waiting for all my old files to be retrieved and returned to me (including smk files and programs I can’t blog without 
) . This will mean that you won’t get any new posts about the current episode ‘The Wrong Way Home’ for about a week..

Hi Everyone! I’m a little late to the party, but still wanted to send Easter greetings!! That few days we had before Easter break got a little rushed as while I was trying to finish the standardized testing some of my students fell ill with this random flu that’s been going around and it’s been sort of a hit or miss situation. Needless to say I will still have testing to do after our vacation.
I was a little disappointed to not see many little girls in their Easter dresses yesterday. I always called it “patent leather on parade” as we always got brand new white patent leather shoes for Easter, along with much of the little girl population. The weather just hasn’t been conducive for cute little spring dresses. At least we’re seeing more sun.
I hope that you are all doing well and all had a wonderful Easter day!!

For me, these are two of the most significant days of the year. But I’m also looking forward to (over)indulging in chocolate and hunting for chocolate eggs, plus spending time with the family. Happy Easter, everyone!

Raffie, I understand the creeping up part and attributing it to the weather. We still have snow on the ground.
We aren’t dying eggs this year because my chickens have been doing the work for me, blue, green, pink, even a rather purple tinged one. But there is so much to do this weekend. Plus two of my sons have birthdays this week and we have a dance to choreograph and perform on Sunday. I am a bit relieved that there won’t be any blog posts that will be niggling away at me during this time. I will look forward to more wonderful SMK goodness to enjoy after we get through this busy yet joyous season. Happy Easter to you all!

Easter has sorta crept up on me this year with February and March being so busy, plus the weather here in NY has been much more winter-y than spring-y! Today is supposed to be gorgeous but tomorrow rain moves in, followed by al cold front with cold rain turning to snow in the Easter Sunday forecast 😦 One thng I have planned and am looking forward to — coloring Easter eggs with the grandbaby for the first time. He’s 13-months and loves to put his hands into everything so it should be quite the adventure!
