Yippppeeeee time for Lee in a tux!…. what else happened at the party? who knows.. who cares? look!there’s lee in a tux.. 😉 No no no!! there are just soo many goodies in this scene which I can now see with these wonderful clear dvds – I have to make an effort here –if I don’t look directly at the tux, I’ll be alright!
Check out all the low cut gowns and jewels at this party…. why couldn’t Amanda have had that too? (I know I know. Let it go Iwsod. let it go.. Lee and Amanda won’t get a dynasty moment just yet ) Von snob: Amanda!
Amanda: Hello!
Von Snob: You look enchanting. [Did Lee offer Amanda a compliment? I bet..not! ]
Amanda: Oh, how wonderful to see you, baron.
Amanda holds out her hand to the Baron here to shake his hand, but he ignores this, turns it over and kisses it instead
Amanda doesn’t look too pleased with this!! and ohhhh my!!! just look at Mr Lee Stetson here!!!
He doesn’t like it one bit either!!
Is that enough pics of jealous Lee there Redgold ? Haaa…You can just feel the ‘get your filthy mouth of her hand’ vibes coming from him !
-hooray!! Amanda continues: Baron Klaus van Eiger, this is my friend Lee Stetson. He’s a businessman from America.
The men shake hands. Lee is putting on his party face here.. doesn’t look happy with the Baron to me! I can’t see any other way of interpreting this- Lee is furious here.. JEALOUS!!!!! Sleazy playboy making a play for Amanda?!! and in front of Lee?!! [ so awesome: suffer Lee! ]
Von Snob: How do you do?
Lee: Nice to meet you. Baron, this is quite a beautiful home you have here.
Von Snob: How nice of you to say, Mr Stetson. You must see my collection of antique vases. (Lee! Tell the Baron about your tibetan Ram’s horn )
What a line but does the baron have any concubine rings? that’s what I want to know
Amanda: Oh.
Von Snob: I traded three horses and a backpack for this beauty in a small town at the tip of the Ivory Coast. (Von snob
suddenly sees Lee has a huge bit of white lint on his lapel – which LOL wasn’t there a
moment ago!- Von snob suddenly reaches out and picks it off flinging it away.. Declaring: Lint! ( I prefer Lindt myself
)
I love how as the Baron reaches out to Lee here to pick off the Lint- Amanda seems to know exactly what is going on – from her earlier experience with the baron and she just watches.. Lee is stunned..confused for a moment!!Yep Lee- freak!!
Lee: Don’t know how I could have missed it.
IMO Lee is suddenly very very happy!!!No danger here! the guy’s a freak!
He positively beams with joy as
Amanda picks the lint out of her champagne glass, unimpressed with the
Baron’s weirdness! Yes, if I am not mistaken Lee is suddenly extreeeemely
content.. and that party face of his is suddenly glowing! tee heee!!!
[plus maybe Lee knows the old smk rule of – refined weirdo = baddie! so he knows Von snob is up to no good
]
Von Snob: You must excuse me. Madame Dupuis has arrived. I must see to her. Mr Stetson, Amanda, my house is your house.
Amanda: Uh, thank you very m-much, Mr Baron.
(Von Snob smiles at her and walks away. LOL!!
I could watch jealous Lee in a tux with that haircut all day long.. I love the look Lee gives Amanda when she is talking to the baron and she gets tongue tied.. for a second he thought there was nothing to worry about.. but uh oh!!! 😆 Jealous!!!! Isn’t it great!!!! Suffer Lee!!! You can see so much more jealous Lee with these fabulous HD dvds!! and I am loving it!!!
You don’t mind if I go overboard with the big pics of jealous Lee in his best haircut ever and wearing a tux? It’s like- the winning trifecta!!
Ok.. now give yourselves a good hard slap! So you can stop drooling and concentrate on what I am about to write.. tee hee.. I know I had to..
I have missed chatting to you all these last few weeks I was away.. the next six weeks are crazy busy (I am studying fulltime) but after my exams – I will have loads more free time to devote to our fave tv show!
I will continue to post regularly, but the posts may be a bit shorter, and it may take more posts to get through an episode..(Hmm maybe I will include more pics! that way they won’t seem smaller -Joking!!! but then.. more pics of Lee in a tux can’t be too bad huh!!
). Don’t forget if there is something you would really love to see a picture of and I don’t include it just comment and let me know and I’ll do my best for you
No problem!
Welcome to Angel – our new commenter!!! Please join in welcoming her! If you comment for the first time, and your comment goes through moderation, be sure to say something about Lee and Amanda or smk so I know you aren’t trying to spam my blog with nike ads or something 🙂 most spammers will tell me they love my blog or something so if that’s all you say- I will (sadly) think you are spam! eek!! 🙂
So for now, the walk through an episode will be gradual.. Slow and steady wins the race I say – and I wouldn’t dream of rushing my way through Lee and Amanda’s story!!! I do not like this non-gown gown at all. It makes me think of a cow. Always has. But then again, if she borrowed it from Francine…
..NOW it makes sense! 😂😉 (Love ya, Francine…)

I’d bet many Deutsche Marks that Francine’s garish outfit was the one-and-only prototype produced the marketed as a “designer original.” Of course, Francine would fall for that, but it irritates me no end that Amanda must wear it. Why oh why didn’t Billy order Lee to take Amanda shopping for an appropriate gown at The Agency’s expense? That’s a scene I’d love to see!

Sorry for the spelling mistake. It should read: … produced then marketed …
Iwsod would you be a dear and add the missing n to my comment above then delete this? Danke!

Oops there goes territorial Lee again. He’s got it bad and he doesn’t even know it 😉
The Baron and his lint picking is such a fun character, unhinged in an OCD way but nevertheless fun LOL

Cracks me up that the Baron drops the lent he picked off of Lee in to Amanda’s drink 🙂

Welcome, Angel! Welcome back, IWSOD! I’m so glad that you took your time over this scene, which is one of my favorites in S2. Thank you for indulging me with the wonderful photos of jealous Lee having to watch while the baron kisses Amanda’s hand, no doubt remembering that this is the second time he’s had to witness this today, and there was nothing he could do about it either time! (I love your “get your filthy mouth off her hand” line.) The funniest thing about this moment, IMO, is that this looney baron is not particularly interested in Amanda (he probably kisses women’s hands regularly), but Lee is FURIOUS! If it wouldn’t ruin their cover, he’d be whirling Amanda out of that party and hurrying her toward his car, her hand firmly in his. These expressions of jealousy, covered-up fury, relief, and renewed concern just flash across his face; he’s so fun to watch in this scene. And neither the baron nor Amanda is paying much attention to him. Paula, seeing Amanda fish the lint out of her glass, all seriousness, cracks me up, too. The “random nut bar” moments are so delightful, especially when they involve Lee’s eyes brightening to green.

Welcome, Angel!
I was almost expecting a macho “I crush your hand in my manly handshake” moment between Von Snob and Lee. LOL. I do agree, Lee is looking mighty fine.

That bit with the lint, between Lee’s sudden “Oh golly, but aren’t we a bit disturbed” expression followed by Amanda’s fishing the lint out of her glass, just cracks me up every time. I love those random, nutty characters SMK inserts from time to time. I guess that’s why I always get a kick out of Keene from Fearless Dotty. Random nut bars sprinkled in to enhance your enjoyment, fans!

— the lint scene cracks me up almost as much as Amanda freshening up the cheerleader’s pompoms in “Sudden Death”.
