Lee’s Season Four Apartment by LeesMolly

Hey Everyone!

As we approach finishing the walk through Season 4, now is a good time to share this blog post.. We have another special treat! Created by our fellow JWWM smk fan LeesMolly! LeesMolly has again compiled all that’s known about Lee’s apartment, this time in season 4, and put it all together for us people who don’t speak spatial awareness (me!) even gifting us with another map!
thankyou2Thanks LeesMolly!

In case you missed it, here is LeesMolly’s post going through Lee’s season 3 apartment HERE.
Let’s go!!!

Lee’s Season Four Apartment

Although we aren’t told why, Lee seems to have finally changed apartment buildings! This place looks more like a condo. Lee’s apartment door is listed as 1B. Photos are taken from The Khrushchev List, Promises To Keep, Unfinished Business, Thanks For The Memories, One Flew East, and Need To Know

Here we see Lee and Amanda coming down the hall to Lee’s place.

Front entrance coming in and what looks like a closet to their right.

Front entrance, opposite angle.

Lee has a really nice antique-styled coat-rack near the door.

Coming into the living room. You can see a phone on the sofa table just behind the couch.

clip_image024

You can see Lee’s music system set up behind the couch to the right of the door.

clip_image026

The other end of the couch. Lee has a photo of his parents on the end table and a taller bookcase on the other side of the table with the sound system.

clip_image028

Far end of the room, opposite the entrance to the dining room. Lee has a chess set on the coffee table and a photo of his parents on the T.V. (which isn’t always there!) Behind Jamie you can see what looks like a patio door, presumably leading to a small balcony. The armchair is often pulled up closer to the couch, especially when Amanda’s there on Thanks For The Memories and Unfinished Business.

Once again Lee has a fireplace, this one across from the couch.

On the other side of the fireplace near the entrance to the dining room is a hallway with the main bathroom (to the left as you go down the hall) and Lee’s room (to the right).

The dining room is to your right when you’re sitting on the couch. It has a set of folding doors that can be left open or closed.

In the dining room. The kitchen door is just behind Amanda.

There’s a beautiful antique hutch on the wall facing the kitchen door.

This is the closest we ever get to seeing Lee’s kitchen.

Entering Lee’s Bedroom:

The bed is the first thing you see when you come in the door and Lee has a phone and a photo of his parents on the nightstand.

clip_image058

Stunning view of Lee’s roll-top desk and chest of drawers that he had in the first season. This time he keeps a ship model on the desk and it also doubles as Amanda’s makeup table!

clip_image060

There’s an ensuite on the wall opposite the bed and a closet to the right of that. Lee evidently changed the furniture arrangement slightly since getting married — the chest of drawers was where the roll top desk is now!

Thanks LeesMolly!!!!!!!

Anyone have thoughts and ideas to share in response?

  1. This is absolutely wonderful — thank you so much, LeesMolly! Your posts about Lee’s apartments are all great fun to read. I especially love that you take the time to figure out the floor plans and draw them out for us. I also appreciate your attention to detail in the way his furniture and knick-knacks get moved around!

This is definitely Lee’s best apartment, but I do miss the French doors on the bedroom from Season 3. I am not crazy about the color of brown on the wall. It would look better if it were a darker, richer brown. Or better yet, a very dark teal or navy blue.

All of the artwork on Lee’s walls is very “meh.”

That model ship looks like it would be a real dust-collector! I wonder where he keeps that giant diorama with the model soldiers from We’re Off to See the Wizard?

  2. I love this! The details of the floor plan are great. I love his furniture and sense of style. I often wonder what type of home they would have as a family. Traditional like Lee or suburban mom like Amanda.

I’m so happy I found this blog. It’s nice to know there are others out there who share my (obsession?) of SMK!

  4. Thanks, LeesMolly! Awesome work! I love the details and all. I think the one of Lee and Amanda toting the clothes is from ‘Need to Know’. That looks like the bathrobe that Amanda found with the name on it?? I transcribed that one which is why it looks familiar. Anyhow… I also like looking around to see if any of the props were carried over from one place to the next. It’s always interesting. This is a more home-like place. Not really a fan of the wallpaper outside his suite though.

    1. Oops, you’re right — thanks. I keep mixing those titles up for some reason.

Glad everyone enjoys this so much. I had so much fun doing it!
